IN TRAIN SIM, HOW DO I GET ACROSS THE CROASSOVER FROM SHELBY…I WENT WCROSS AT 2MPH AND COUPLER STILL BROKE…KNOW HOW I GET ACCROSS?
If I understand you correctly you must mean the switches east of Cutbank (or, if my direction is wrong, closer to Shelby, not the bridge?)
I have never had a problem with this coupler breaking on the BNSF route and I have used programs from two completly different CD-ROMs. I have, however, discovered on one version of Trainsim in the “Murder on the Orient Express” activity the coupler on the last car will always break when I use a particular switch at a certain siding. Also, in an Amtrak activity the train will always derail exactly 3 minutes into the activitly whether the train is moving or not, however, on a different disk this bug does not occur.
The point is every box on the shelf will have a differnt glitch or bug in the program. A CD is unchangeable so I have three suggestions:
1.) Call that 1-800 number on your box and ask for help. Tell them exactly what the problem(s) is/are.
or
2.) Go to http://www.microsoft.com/games/trainsim/tech.asp to download the updates (which is probably what tech support will tell you).
or
3.) Buy a whole new trainsim game. But, this should be a last resort. There’s no garuntee it will be glitch-free.
Hope that helps
