D.M.&E rolling stock

Does anyone know where I can purchase the Trinity covered hopper that I think Athern came out with a few yrs. ago? I’m also looking for the blue gondola car that was released the same year. I saw them at the Great American Train Show at Canterberry Square in Mn. a few yrs. ago but I was purchaseing Erie-Lacawanna at the time and didn’t get the D.M.&E. cars like i should have thinkin they’d be around for a while. Well there not available anymore. I just purchased 6 of the new Walther’s covered cement cars that are now available.
If possible,I’d like to buy a few of each,or whatever is offered.
Thanks, Wolf

Well, here’s a list of all of the DME cars I’m aware of ever being manufactured:
Athearn Genesis Trinity 5161 covered hopper (in stock)
Wathers Gold Line Trinity 100 Ton cement covered hopper (in stock)
LBF Trinity 5161 covered hopper 6-pack (sold out)
Intermountain special run for Pacific Western Rail PS2 3-bay covered hopper 3-packs (Sold out)

That DM&E gondola was a special run from Tesky Trains - He makes the train show circuit in the Midwest.

A hobby shop I frequent, Who;s Hobby House sort of specializes in DM&E equipment. They are located in Rapid City South Dakota which is the major western terminus of that railroad and DM&E is ususually popular due to that roads presence in town.

They do do mail order, give them a call at 605-342-0875

Glad I could help.
