Im nearing the end of custom fitting a pair of DW ditch lights to this MTH SD70ace.
I have rebuilt the front railings using 2 Kato stanchions and some 15" brass wire. I need to paint these new parts using the gray found on this unit but i cannot find it listed anywhere. Both of the UP grays are way off.
Does anyone know where i maybe able to get it or even what this gray is called? Its almost like a pale blue.
All ive been able to find out is that the yellow is known as Aspen Gold!
Well in the end i mixed up some gray, it was alot easier and more straightforward than i thought given the strange slate blue that it is. Heres a picture of the frame sat on top of the WP heritage unit with the completed front railings. I done this to see what the new ditch light LEDS looked like in comparison with the unmodified version below it.
The new LEDS are not quite as blue as they are on the WP #1983 as I applied some special tint that came with the LEDS.

The camera has made the lights appear brighter than they are and the new ones dont look as blue as they do here. Just waiting on some MU air hoses and i can put it back together.
