Hi guys
I was wondering if the D14SRP would fit in a Ge DASH 8-40C. i know a D14Sr will, But are there any differences between the two?

Do you mean D15SRP vs the D14SR? The differences are the D15SRP has more functions and has a harness with an 8-pin plug on the end, whereas the D14SR has an integral plug on the circuit board itself. Given the large size of the DASH 8, I’d think it would fit in there. Any particular reason? The D14SR is less expensive, if it will fit. NCE’s decoder chart recommends the D15SRP for the DASH 8’s.

I know the D14SR will fit. go to the DCC section eviews/hodash840cmrn.htm .
I’m just not sure if the D24SRP will fit. do you know if the D14SRP will fit?

I know the feeling about having limited funds. I just got a pretty good deal on it thats why I bought it. I paid 260 canadian including taxes for it. Could not buy it thought until i comfermed it with the bank(wife).
