dc controller

hello everyone was wanting some advice on what dc controllers i should me looking for out their on the market is any one better than the other? and do one brand offer more than another or is dc basically on/off

For DC, MRC is probably the safest. Thier current Tech 4 line is very nice. I like the older Tech 2 model 2500 - no longer in production.

Without spending the kind of money that a DCC system would cost (there are fancy DC controlelrs that easily cost as much of not more than a DCC system), you can’t do better than MRC. The Tech 4 line is the current product lineup.

anyone out there use the mrc trainpower 5 system is it better than tech 2?

I’ve never heard of the trainpower line… so i can’t tell you much about it.

The best ones out there for N/HO are the Tech 4 series (now), although if you can find it, the Tech 2 series are also amazing power supplies.
