Hi All,
I am new to the forums and had a question as to where to find the right conversion DCC decoders for a pair of Life Like “N” SD-7 Locomotives. I want to make my layout DCC as I build it but haven’t been able to find something that works. Do I need to scrap these Locos if I go to DCC?

The Life-Like SD-7’s can be made into very good runners and are definately worth converting to DCC. I also did the ‘Performance Enhancement’ as described in the article linked below during the two decoder installs I have done and it is well worth the effort.

Train Control Systems lists their M-1 decoder as fitting into the Life Like SD-7 in N scale. I have not personally done one.
