That’s the advantage of the NMRA DCC Standards and Recommended Practices – practically every brand of decoder is compatible with every brand of DCC system as far as the basic functions are concerned.

Thank you for the response. Now will I have to isolate the brushes on my E-7 this will go in?

Thank you. Now when I put this in a Life-Like Proto E-7 loco, will I need to isolate the brushes? On my Gp-9 I had to do this with a digitrax decoder
