I have built a building in my yard to house an HO model RR.
It will be an “L” shape. The long leg will be 3’6" x 12’
The short leg will be 4’ x 6’
How many phone jacks for DCC will I need?
If 2 should I place one on each leg?

The reccomended method is toput one every 7 feet, so you would need about 3-4
I would do three. 1 on the short leg and 2 on the long leg.

The other answers cover it but…make sure that one is by any roundhouse or engine house. I decided to add a roundhouse and found what a pain it was to not have a jack there…so you go back and put one in.
