Can anyone tell me why on my athearn genesis SD75i the lights turn them selves on. I like to have the train rolling around the layout as I work in the layout room ,and from time to time I will look up to see some of the lights on that I did not turn on. It is not always the same lights. I run a N.C.E. system.
Any ideas other that GHOSTS

Has to be the way it is powering up or it is getting a prompt somehow if they are going on and off whoile doing something else. Could also be the decoder is breaking down some way. You might want to chnage the decoder and see if it still occurrs. Then it has to be either power up or a signal I would think.
One other thing. Could it be shorting out somehwere on its laps?
Thanks for the ideas. I will try swapping decoders. As for shorting … It runs smooth as silk , and no other loco does it.
