DCC-So Many -What to Choose

I have watched and read a lot of posts, that go back and forth, about the best way to get into DCC, and what unit to use. As with other hobbies I have started during my life, I have always started at the bottom or entry level, and took that level to it’s maximum. Then with all the information and knowledge I had gathered, from this entry level, I transferred to the next level. I felt very secure moving up, as I knew all the shortcomings of the entry level unit, and what features I wanted on the next level unit. CONT. NEXT POST

Bob, all you have posted can go into one topic–You don’t have to post continuations like this. Just keep typing; the text within the box will scroll up; but nothing will be lost. Look at some of the other topics to see how it works.

I HAVE, MYSELF BEEN WONDERING HOW TO GO ABOUT THE DCC PHONEMINA, AND DIDNT KNOW WHAT ROUTE TO TAKE, BUT I THINK I WILL GO THE MRC ROUTE, AS I SEEM TO LIKE THEIR PRODUCTS. I ALSO HAVE CONSIDERED THE COST, MRC SEEMS TO FIT THE BILL!

Bob, unless I’m mistaken, your talking HO DCC systems in this topic. To get a better input it would be best to present this topic on the Model Railroading forum where the HO guys hang out. This forum is mostly “O” gauge with our DCC being Lionel’s TMCC and MTH’s DCS.

No matter, enjoy your trains.
