I’m new to DCC so bear with this basic question. I am in the process of converting several Atlas Dual Mode Decoder equipt locos to Soundtraxx Decoders. Once installed, what are the 1,2,3, etc steps I MUST DO to get these up and running. Eg, deleting address 03, programming new address, etc. etc.

Please make any responses simple. I use Digitrax.

The first thing you should do is change the decoder address. After that, it’s just a matter of fine tuning the sound effects to suit yourself.
