Was getting ready to leave work, when heard horn of inbound train. I am really glad I hung around to take a look. DD40x 6936 with about 6-10 exec cars came through Davis, CA heading west at about 3:15 PM. She wasn’t even breathing hard and holding about 40-50 MPH. You see a lot of SD90MACs and think they’re pretty big, but these monsters are awesome…for diesels anyway!
