Dec. Cover & Page 17; Did anyone else notice anything odd in these pictures?
The switch on the cover is set for a path of “destruction” and the tender wheels are off the track on p17.
At least it’s less obvious than the DCS/TMCC article path of confusion. Also does anyone else see just the weirdness on page 18 with the snow scene. I’m not sure whether it’s just the way it transfered over to the magazine or what but some of the snow and such look cut and pasted. Like I said it maybe from the transfer to print and nothing else. Some of the edges on the people, cars and thinks look weird.
“Can I get a Double check those switch points?” Maybe some of you who listen to RR scanners have heard something like that on the airwaves.
I only mention this because I see it showing up more and more frequently in the mags. In the past few years there have been many a photo with the switch points not fitting up right. And there have been some huge gaffs of models off the track, and this goes especially for Manufacturers ads! I sometimes wonder if the Art Dept. is “double checking” what they do?
