Subtle humor is sometimes wrapped into the scenery…
Is the Grim Reaper still gallivanting on the rooftops?
There is no visual clues (pictures) to elude to them but as I’m slowly reading the article, there is mention that Rod update structures from time to time

How does the December issue come out when it is not even the end of October yet?
Not sure, but I have it. Came in the mail today
Rod’s article starts on page 56 & on page 59 has a photo of him working on some buildings

The issues generally come out a month earlier than the posted month anyway. With the notariety of Rod Stewart featured in it, they probably released it early while it is fresh in the people’s minds.
Many magazines come out 3 to 6 weeks ahead of the issue date. I normally get my MRR during the last week of the month which usually means about 4 to6 weeks before the cover date. I just received my December issue today, (Monday Oct 25/10) this is just one of the many perks you get when you buy a subscription to MRR as in my area it is not normally on the newsstands until the second week of the month prior to the cover date.
Now if I could just figure out where my copy of Great Model Railroads has gone to I would be happy. [swg] It is already on the newsstands around here but has not found its way to my mailbox. Some Postie is probably sitting on Thomas Crapper’s invention at the Post Office enjoying it.[(-D]
Blue Flamer.
