sean ive read srticles where the author used dry transfers as decals by applying the dry trans fer onto the decal paper,of course this is the clear decal paper. also the colored decal paper can be used for “patches” on the reporting marks/road numbers.

You print on it with either an inkjet or laser printer (there are two different sub-types of decal paper). Then use like decals. There are some cautions because inkjet inks are usually water soluable. The instructions on the paper box should help. If no box, try the manufacturer’s web site.
The problem is that neither printer can print in white. I believe that a 'thermal wax" printer can print in white but that is a specialty item.
good luck.
Sean, I print dozens of decals all the time, if you bought ink jet paper you can design and print yuor own decals on the paper, make sure you print on the glossy side of the paper, thats the decal film.( ask me how I know ) , anyway after you have laid out and printed your decals let them dry a while and then seal them with a fixitive, (I use Krylon clear ) this prevents the ink from washing off. then use like any decal. soak in water slide the film off the paper backing, and you have decals !
