Decals

Any one know of a place to get custom decals done. I was going to make them myself but 90% of what I need is white. Or does any one know of a good printer that prints white. I know one would cost. Thanks for any help.

Where do you go for decal templates, or do you just make you own?

I had seen a custom decal company advertised in MRR. They’re located locally for me (Chicago area) which is why I remember them. I dont remember the name of the company but it was in the Jan or Feb issue. I will have to look for it when I get home. Just a small 1" or 2" ad on the side of the page. I think it was on the left hand side of an even numbered page, below the center point (if I remember correctly)

at some walmarts they have decal kits work good for me.

I found the ad, it’s page 14 of the Jan MRR, left side. The name of the company is Rail Graphics. their website is
http://www.railgraphicsdecals.com/
I might get some of these myself for some old cars I want to paint.

Testers has decal paper in clear & white to be used in an inkjet printer. They also have an overspray that you have to use because the inkjet ink isn’t waterproof.

I don’t have his address with me, but I get my “St. Paul Route” decals done by Don Manlick in Wisconsin. Reasonable rates, good quality.

I had some done several years ago by Rail Graphics, which is somewhere in the Chicago area, I believe. They do a great job.

I use a laser jet printer and with that much white i would try testors white decal paper. I used both the clear and white and both works well in my printer.
