Has anyone received yet? I received my copy of Trains on Friday but haven’t received MR yet. Just checking if it’s in the mail or a little behind.

I got mine on Saturday along with Classic Trains. It’s one of the best issues in a long time. If you just saw the pictures of Rod Stewarts layout without the story, you would think George Selios had made another major addition to the F&SM, it is that good. Rod credits George as one of his major influences and you can definitely see it in his work. He also credits Earl Smallshaw as well but I am not familiar with his work.
Have not gotten mine either, I was wondering what was up but I see they just posted a notice about it being delayed. Late is fine, I just would hate for it to be lost in the mail.
I enquired because usually you don’t hear about an issue unless it is in the mail. It would be considered late if it doesn’t arrive by the 9th. Mine showed up today the first.
I received mine today, Monday.
Mine arrived here (KCKS) today, no problem, nor have I had any delivery problem for many months or years.

I was really looking for mine in today’s mail, but no luck. I almost always get it and Trains on the last post day of the month or the first. I’m fairly sure it will be here tomorrow, but I sure could have used it today!
Postal Service is too busy trying to get the junk political mail (which they must treat as 1st class, and report why they didn’t deliver it on time etc) to get to the magazines. Should receive them soon tho, since election is tomorrow.
You were 5 minutes too fast at posting your question. MRR posted (5 min later on the forum) that it might take until 11/9 before some of us get the December issue.
Thanks folks! Like I said I usually get Trains and MR on the same day so that was the only reason for my concern. Now I know just to hold on to my britches a few more days. [:D]
