Decoder change for Athearn Genesis Challenger

Can anyone explain how to get into the tender of an Athearn Genesis Challenger inorder to change the decoder.

I think that there are screws under the water hatches and tool box?

Lift the tool box out and the top of the coal or oil section will slide backwards and lift out. check your illustrated parts for the other ways of removing certain parts.
