TCS said an MC2 or the T1 would do nicely. Make sure you cut the caps on the Bachman board.

thanks PETE

know my question is who makes the mc2 or the ti thanks again

Digitrax has several N and Z scale decoders that are robust enough for use in HO locomotives. Being small they can fit almost anywhere.

TCS = Train control Systems. WWW.TCSDCC.COM Look at instal pictures.

thanks il get in it as soon as i can thanks again

thanks Locoi1sa

that site was a big help i also found 1 for another loco i wanted to put decoder in it thanks again[:)][tup]

In my experiance TCS seems to make the best decoders. I have never had a problem with them and easy to program and great lighting fx. I wish they did sound.

I’m pretty sure that most of the manufacturers make excellent quality products. Everyone will have their favorites.

A couple things make TCS stand out a bit in my mind. First, their one year goof proof warranty. One year, regardless of the problem, no questions asked. In fact, they ask a few questions on the form they like you to fill out, but in a very short time period, you will have a new decoder. I inadvertantly smoked one, and they stood behind it, just like they say. Second, their web site is very helpful. Lots of install help and literature.

Between TCS and Litchfield Station websites, there are TONS of install pics and help.
