I have an old Digitrax decoder and LT1 tester. Does anyone know if this will work with
Soundtraxx decoders? I’m assuming it will, but am not sure. I have never used it.

Yes, when connected/used as per the LT1 instruction sheet, the LT1 can be used in a rudimentary fashion to check the motor and light functions only of a Soundtraxx (or any other) decoder.
However, you would need to connect a speaker (not part of the LT1) to the decoder to hear/test any of the sounds.
I’m not sure how the old Digitrax decoder figures into your question, though. It would not have any role in testing the Soundtraxx decoder.
OK, thank you. I am really interested in just testing the Soundtraxx decoder to make sure I did not fry it awhile back. I just want to be sure I can get power and sound. No lights.
