Decorating our line for Christmas

Hi everyone,
Took a few pics of some of the decorating we have done for Christmas. Naomi and I made small wreaths so I could decorate my lamps the way small towns do here in Manitoba. To make the wreaths we used Chenille in green and red. Some call this product “pipe cleaners”. They came pre cut in 12" lengths. All that was needed to form the wreath was to wind the Chenille around a pencil. Pull the pencil out from the centre then grasp the ends of the Chenille. A slight tug will draw it out to the desired size to make a small circle. The wire in the centre of the Chenille will hold the shape. Tie the ends together with a small bow. You can then further decorate it with tiny beads, snowflakes, stars, etc. All these items were readily available at Michaels here. Christmas crafting items are numerous so you can be creative. Hope the pics come out OK. This is my first attempt. [X-)] Merry Christmas! Later eh…Brian.

Your images aren’t working. If you use the “preview” button you can hopefully see if images will load before you post the message. (Unless they’re pointing to your machine, in which case you’ll be able to see them but no one else will.)

Hi there,
Found out what the problem is. Working on fixing it so you can see what I did. Later eh…Brian.

OK,
Finally! Got it figured out. Will add more pics for you when I get a chance. Later eh…Brian.

More pics later eh,Brian

All the best

Ian,
The room is not quite done…(like a lot around here). That is in my basement and runs around the entire perimeter. As I was building I made holes in the walls for the train to pass through. Plans are to have a complete loop for Christmas. As I progress I will post more pics showing more of the layout. Gotta’ run off to work. Later eh…Brian.

Very nice Christmas ambiance there!

Brian your looks so much better than mine, with all the discussion about demo-ing and rebuilding the garage I havent touched my indoor line in a while its got so many cobwebs it now looks like something from “The Nightmare Before Christmas”
[:O][D)][sigh]

Vic,
No doubt you will rebuild bigger and better. It’s your right to! Not to worry, soon you will be showing us all the latest. Large Scale = Large Garage! Later eh…Brian.
