Well, I have held on to this for a long time but I have desided to let out my cars I made for a freind in 2007. Well I will start with the first question, WHY. well back in 2004 my freind wanted to make a train layout that was to take place in sept/Oct time period. It was to be complete with A county fair with all the accesories. But natural he wanted something diferant. We thought and thought but had no answere so we went to a near by fair. You have youre easy to lay out carny rides, Food stands, magic shows, ect ect. we had looked at many other layouts and only found these common traits. we desided to go and watch the car races and at the end there was a demo derby, old junky cars had at each other till one was left running. well bang the idea came up, something differant. well a few years pased by and when time came to put them on, he well gave up. so I still have them, few have been put on other layouts put heres the how to.

A Get a car

B Pull it apart

C Add details and rust the frame/Chassis up

and tada, a derby car

Deliberately destroy another one and you will have the MOPAR nuts of the world at your door with pitchforks and torches. They wrecked so many during the filming of the show that it shot the price of a good one WAY up.

  1. How did that 1978 Chevy Impala turn into what looks like the 1967 CMW Ford Galaxy?

  2. The 1978 Chevy probably would have become a demolition derby car by the late 1980s - therefore, did you end up adding rollbars and nets across the windows for that one?

na, all eded up looking pretty stock, lost the end result photos of the chevy, but it was totally stock
