So I am staying in a hotel in Denver, overlooking their newest light rail line. I see rails in place and the overhead up but not trains yet. What is the status?

Running test trains now on some sections for about a month now. Still surfacing south of I-225 towards C470. In service end of next summer.

Surfacing equipment is all south of where you are at. You may still see a speed swing dragging a small ballast car past your window at times. Test cars are still crawling around a 5 mph looking for places where the catenary and the pantographs do not maintain the proper clearance.

We sometimes forget that railhead to catenary is just as important as rail ot rail.
