hadnt heard anything on the news this morning yet but when i was coming home we saw a convoy of rj corman trucks going west on us 6. wondering if there was derailment or they were going back to base.

There was a derailment (CSX) yesterday morning, about 8:00. Had a car
loaded with phosphorus sulfate (fortunately no leak). One of the box cars
loaded with beer, derailed. Along with it, took 8 or 9 auto racks. The auto
racks were carrying GMC trucks. They had a total of 11 cars derail.

people in the town of Pekin, IN. (Ind. St. Rd. 60, supposed to reopen
sometime later today).
Looks like they gave the’all clear’ earlier today,and even reopend the road.
Just very glad it wasn’t as bad as it could have been.
Even though I live around the area,is that an old Monon line ?
According to today’s newspaper,they rerailed all the cars,
except for one;the one transporting the beer.
A CSX spokesperson said it was “so badly damaged,it was to be
cut up for scrap on the scene.”
Hmmmmm,wonder how many people got free beer?
