I am far from done with the layout and not totally done with the areas in these pics, but I think they are lookin good but wanted to see what you folks think? A while back there was a post about desert scenery and what to use. Thse pics are a combination of the Arizona Rock and Mineral products, a touch of Woodland Scenics blended turf, some other turf colors, foliage, and some real Arizona sifted desert dirt that I bought at a lansscaping company for 2 dollars for 5 gallons.
I want to add some more clump foliage, and some trees.
On the road, I will probalby add a bit more very fine light colored sand to simulate where the tires have worn down the road…I have done a bit of that as you see behind the car…I am trying to emulate the techniques in the Pelle book…
The barn is a BTS Pichards Barn kit. The beagles in the field were placed by my daughter, she wanted to let you know that lol.
