I’m sure everyone will recognize this layout’s owner without even writing his name. Spectacular!

This is a good one nice and clear
I can almost feel the heat and dust . This truely catches the moment. Great job, love it.
Very nice layout photo.have set it as my desk top background om my two computers.
For those using Windows XP or Vista,1.) select the size your monitor will support, then zoom in if you want, 2.) Right click to bring up a screen Menu,3.)Highlight "set as desktop background.,then click to set as your desktop background image.
Use this method rather than the drag and drop as suggested on the photos page instructions, this worked for me to set it as the desktop background image.
This method is for Windows Op Systems, for Mack based Systems you will have to check and see what your system uses that’s similar to the Windows method I just explained.
Pelle’s work always ROCKS!
Pelle is an amazing ‘artist’. I know the area he models well. I live in Palmdale and visit Tehachapi Loop often, as I have friends that live near Loop. You have to pass through Mojave on the way .
Pelle captures the area to a ‘T’ !
What a great shot…it draws one into it. Thanks Pelle for sharing your talents with us.
Great wallpaper – as always. Any chance to get wallpapers in higher resolutions (such as 2560x1600)?
Pelle’s work is legendary. He’s written great articles in MR and authored very useful Kalmbach how-to books. He often holds workshops too.
I always enjoy one of Pelle’s articles. I have a question to ask. I am an N scale modeler and trying to locate N scale code 85 terminal rail joiners online. So far with no success. Usually I buy from Walthers online but they seem to be out of stock. Can you tell me where I can find them? Thank you.
Pelle’s work is nothing less than exellent! It looks like the real thing!
looks like some where in texas. great pic.
Awsome
The Pelle presentations were great, however they are now spent. The Southwest scenes of UP and BNSF in the desert are getting redundant. His work is too omni-dimensional. Perhaps he can try something new instead of building the same railroad (Danville) over again. A great modeler like him can surely build something new and interesting.
I’m realatively new to the magazine, or should I say back into the hobby. Regardless, unlike Mr. Skonicki from Colorado and being from the east coast - I can never get tired of seeing big beautiful Union Pacific diesels in desert settings. I recently visited family near New Orleans and had an opportunity to see some of these big rigs up close and personal, WOW! Pelle Soeborg is a true artist in the medium of model railroading and I hope to see more of his work! Thanks!
Great picture. I am a big fan of Pelle’s work. His articles are always my favorite reading. I am a big UP fan and I always appreciate anything he contributes to Model Railroader.
