Despite rumors, Arkansas & Missouri Alcos to continue operations
One of the main reasons the rumor started was our local News here In Arkansas. The news was doing a story on the new A&M shop building and the reporter began talking about how the road hopes to get new engines soon. I’m a conductor on the A&M’s Excursion Train and I’d hate to see the ALCOs go. I hope they never do. They would lose alot of passengers if they did.
