Detailing Cab Interiors

I have detailed the interiors of my passenger cars by painting them, but what about painting cab interiors of locos? Does anyone do it?

I have two Athearn Genesis SD70MAC s that I would like to paint the seats and floors and what ever else.

I do this to all of my steamers. It looks really cool to see the red valve knobs (faucets?), and the white gauge faces (I even paint the needles). I also like the contrast of painting the interior walls in light green. Seems more appropriate on a steamer, since you can actually SEE the interior thru open side windows and open back.

I would consider that almost a little too detailed, but sounds like a good job. I was thinking about painting the seats and the control stands and desk.

Too detailed, I apply the board by board technique to finish my steam cabs-even have a chip to match the apple green color used by the SP.
