Diamond plate walkways on GE 44-Tonner?

Can someone tell me whether any or all of the GE 44-ton locomotives had diamond plate walkways? I can’t seem to find a photo taken from above the walkway level. I’m detailing a Bachmann Spectrum model, and the smooth walkways look a bit bare, but I’ll leave them alone if the prototype had smooth ones.

The 35 Ton GE built in 1957 we use at work doesn’t have diamond plate.It has very small studs about every 2 inches on the walkways. They would be hard to see on an HO model.
