no help ive been emailing them for 2 weeks no response and no help on there site
You may have to find some help and design your own indexing system/auto reversing . There are some threads in the electrical section.
Good luck
Hmmm, a circuit board you say? That may be from someone other than Diamond Scale. Sounds like maybe an add-on? I’ve got a 75’ DS TT and don’t recall any such thing associated with it or in the instructions, so that’s what I’m going on.
I use the New York Railway Supply drive to power mine. I wired it when things were still DC, so used a rotary switch to control power to the finger tracks. That way only one track was powered at a time.
That said, power to a DS TT can be set up several different ways. I send power through the TT shaft and the ring rail. Done per the DS instructions, it’s actually self-reversing when the ring rail is set-up correctly. Problem is I have no idea where my instructions are right now (been a few years since I built it), but if I figure out where they’re at, I let you know.
its the diamond scale index system
OK, not familiar with it. Still trying to remember where I put that box full of old kit instructions. At least I could suggest different options for wiring the TT itself if I can find them. I’m pretty certain I didn’t have anything from DS on indexing, since I went with the NYRS system.
I have this same turntable. If you will send me your address via e-mail I will send you a copy. MY e-mail is ljcollectors1@sbcglobal.net.
