Diaphrams on a Walthers Union Pacific Passenger Cars

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone taken off the diaphramns off an yellow box Unoin Pacific

passenger car? I was wanting to paint the Union Pacific diaphramns

gray. What manufactured paint would match the color? All the Walthers

passenger cars’ diaphramns are painted black. It doesn’t look very realistic.

I haven’t done much with UP passenger cars, but Tru-Color Paints tcp-25 Harbor Mist Gray is a good match for the UP color. It might need some lightening or darkening to match Walthers’ colors.
