Did 3985 get any TV coverage?

Its last outing to St.Paul and back was ____ weeks ago. Can’t remember. I don’t catch the local news much. But did anyone see any TV coverage of the 3985 or was it to unimportant for them to cover?

Ive caught the 3985 twice in Arkansas and had a oppertunity to get it a third time but others covered the engine that day on the internet well enough.

I dont recall anything TV related in the past with this engine. In fact, TV as we knew it does not enter my home anymore. It’s either the net directly from the broadcast stations themselves or off the satellite.

They will prefer to cover something with a little drama and volume, not a 60 year old steam engine quietly boiling water waiting it’s next run IMHO.

I recall following the UP 844 via GPS online and several western TV stations covered the event because Railroads built the west and they were glad to provide the coverage.

Don’t know whether 3985 got any TV coverage, but I do know WHO radio talked a lot about it when it went through Iowa.

3985’s arrival made the newscasts of at least two local stations in Sioux City.
