I tried to improve one of those little Walther’s speeders with an India ink wash, paint and installing a windshield and side windows (Kodak film)
I guess I need some windshield wipers [:D]

Very nice. Yes, windshield wipers and a crew, at least a driver would be a nice addition.
I have recently started taking digital pictures of my trains and reviewing them on my computer.
It sure helps in finding out where I can improve.

Too bad we don’t have a colour photo for reference…however, I would paint the interior that hospital corridor green, you know, the old fashioned colour that we’d seen in the 50’s? The seat might be wooden or maybe vinyl or leather, so light brown. Floor boards red or rusty and shiny metal mixed. If you feel like making this a bit of a mini-project, add some grabs. Wipers would be a great detail. And of course, the gang. [:)]
Really makes an improvement.
Now you can grime up the under carriage, chipped paint and minor rust stains. Beat it up as much as you like.
I suggest that you toss it, it will never be good enough for everyone else.[:D]

I think it looks great.[tup] If you have ever thought about it, Speeders usually have a curtain on the side. It was an easy way to keep the outside weather out of the inside of the speeder. So if you wanted, you could add that curtain and it would make more real looking. Just an idea.
But I think the speeder looks really good!
