DID THE N&W OWN ANY HIGH HOOD GP20'S

I just received another undec Proto GP20 today to use the cab and hood on one of my undec HH GP18’s to make it a low hood for the MoPac.

Soooooooo…I seem to have a surplus of HH GP20’s now (4) and was wondering if the N&W ever had any HH GP20’s, I assume if they did they also had dynamic brakes as well.

The 2 GP20’s the N&W had came from the Illinois Terminal, ex-UP locos. They were low hood.

Thanks for the info, now I need to figure out what to do with 4 HH GP20’s??? Wish I could make them into GP9’s!!

The GN & WP had the original delivered High Hood GP20’s.

Mark,A follow club member turned his HH GP20s into GP9Rs…He removed the turbocharger stack( he filled the hole with putty) and added 4 stacks and a Horst air filter…

This looks like a question that would get more responses on “Prototype Information for the Modeler,” a subforum I usually look at first.
