At their website they’re offering up N&W A 2-6-6-4’s(BlueLine) for $225.00. Seems to be a boiler plate offering from their recent BLI Mohawk deal. Hope they keep boiler plating!

Over the weekend I ordered an N gauge loco from them. I got an email confirming the price and that it would ship today (monday). I noticed the amount that they billed my credit card for was well above the amount that it should have been. I called and found that they had raised the advertised price. They were very nice and said they would honor the advertised price and make the corrections. $15 difference in the price, not including the tax on the higher amount.
Didn’t order that, but my wife ordered all the stuff i had circled in the MRR Add for this month. I let her off cheap this christmas. A six pack of BNSF coal hoppers and a UP track cleaning box car…chuck

I now live about 10 minutes from their Lynnbrook store, and used to live about 15 minutes from their “old” Brookyn location when I was a kid. I’m not sure how they do their sale item pricing, and really don’t want to know, but lets just say I’m a regular in there …

Archer,
I’ve always wondered, are the ad prices applicable to their stores or only to mail order?
Thanks,
Jon

Hard to say, as I’ve never had to mail order anything from them - however, anytime I’ve walked in with a printed Internet ad, the prices were honored. I might GUESS that on SOME items the store price might be a touch higher to offset the shipping charges, but I can’t really confirm that. The big savings there are their bargain bin items.

I live in the UK , I have a question.
I will be in the New York area in January for a few weeks, and have often seen the ads for Trainworld in MR , so one of the things I had hoped to do was see if I can find myself a few bargains, however I notice they have two shop addresses, the Brroklyn place and the one in Long Island, is one better than another to visit?
