Diecast cars for your layout $$$

TOM, where did you pick up all the funny cars and slingshot dragsters? Along with the muscle cars, love your '62-64 Chevy.

Hi Lee - The Superbirds were made by RoadChamps and also Unversal Hobbies. The #43 Richard Petty car was made by Racing Champions.

The RoadChamps was a 6 to 8 dollar car. The UH was more like 15 to 20.

Laz - The rails were made by seveal different places.

The second one is the orginal, made by Corgi. the white one is by Race One, who must have bought the tooling.

Lionel also made this rail

Now the Don Garrletts and the Snake rails are on the pricey side ($40.00 each).

The Funny cars were also made by Road Champs (Jerry Tollaver when he had WWF as a sponcer, BTW he is still racing funny cars today).

Matchbox also made two differant ones in 1/43 scale.

Spankybird,

I would like to find the Dodge Clhallenger and Plymouth 'Cuda(the high performance version of the Barricuda). Have two # 43’s(Richard Petty cars) in H.O. scale one powered electric race car and one diecast version.

Is there a website to get theses cars from or what?

Thank You.
