Diesel Locomotve Wheels

Where can i find replacement for f7 locomotive?

Northwest Shortline (NWSL) makes wheelsets for quite a few engines. Without knowing the maker you’re looking for (Athearn, Stewart, etc.) NWSL may have what you’re looking for, particularly if you’re looking for an “upgrade” rather than just replacing missing wheelsets.

If you find the manufacture, you may still be able to get the wheels from them. All so one of us may have some laying around. I think I have some extras for Blue Box F7.

I think the manufacture is Tempo anyway thats the name on the botive of the locomotive.

Most locos made by Tempo were low quality toy train set engines. Unless it has great sentimental value you would be money ahead to buy a better loco. You can still find Athearn blue box F units at swap meets and probably some hobby shops. They have decent detail, bullet proof drives and are great runners. If you aren’t on a tight budget, you can find lots of Stewart/Kato F units, new for under $50.00 on the internet auction sites. They are some of the best.
