I have three Atlas GP40 and a Athearn Genesis ABB F9 consist. I want to buy some other Rio grande locos. What do you guys recommend?
The D&RGW had the only SD40T-2s apart from Southern Pacific, so one (or more) of those would be interesting to have if your modelling period extends to the time they were obtained (mid 1970s).

Regarding the timeframe. Everything between 1970 and 1990 is of interest.
All of the locomotives on the above roster are made by at least one of the major manufacturers. Athearn in particular makes all those on the list in their various product lines with most available in Rio Grande paint. Atlas makes the GP40, Proto 2000 makes the SW1200, GP9, GP30, GP60, SD7, SD9, SD45 & SD50 and Kato made a GP35. Look at their websites and eBay to see what’s available.
