I bought the via tail dome car the revelstoke park in the latest via paint .It is a hep car what is the difference in the under neath pipes as to the other older tail dome cars? someone told me there is a difference. Can someone post a picture if possible? thanks rambo1…
I know of nothing specific, but normally the steam lines, are removed. 480 Volt HEP cables are mounted in their place. Did Rapido ‘chaznge’ the underbody when they did a rin in the VIA paint scheme?

don’t think so too cost too much. rambo1…
I wouldn’t be surprised if they did. [:-^]
If this link works, you can check out the underbody of an original (non-HEP version) to see if it looks similar to the car in question.

no that is coach mine is dome tail car
they say it is not a very big difference in the pipes rambo1…
I’m aware of that, but they also offered the coach in a VIA version - I’d guess that if they did different underbody details for the HEP version, such cars wouldn’t have the Genemotor, nor the steam traps, etc., and that should apply to the dome tail car, too.
If you aren’t sure, you could always contact Rapido and ask. I’ve found them to be very helpful and responsive to queries:
