Different road numbers, how do I solve that?

If I buy a loco where only 1 road number is available but want to have 3 different road numbers in a consist, how do I solve that?

You could create new number boards and cover over the existing ones, or, how about carefully scratching off the last digit with a xacto knife or something and then applying a new number in it’s place (dry transfer or decal)?

There’s probably a better way to do this, but that’s what jumped into my head.

Take a cotton bud and soak it a little with meths then wipe over the road number to remove it. Reapply transfers for desired numbers
