I was wondering if anybody has heard any updates on when the DT402 will be available? I thought it was going to be out around Christmas here in the U.S. but I have not heard anything.
Must be still ironing out some bugs. I was planning to get myself a Christmas present this year and the duplex radio was top of the list. I have seen nothing on the Digitrax Yahoo group about an updated release date.
Same here. The wife asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I said a Digitrax Duplex radio receiver and throttle to add to my existing Digitrax system. Digitrax has been hinting for over a year that the duplex radio system would be out some time this fall (2008). I guess we will need to wait a little longer.
I had considered getting some UT-4 throttles now and send them into Digitrax later to be upgraded to duplex radio. I have a radio Chief and I purchased only one DT-100R throttle. I latter purchased additional DT-100, DT-300 and DT-400 throttles on Ebay and sent them to Digitrax to be upgraded to radio. I like the simplicity of the UT-4 for my guests, but don’t want to make the investment if I am not sure they can latter be upgraded. I previously had purchased some UT-1 throttles, because I was informed that they could be upgraded to radio at some future date. They never did and Digitrax no longer upgrades DT-100 or DT-300 throttles.
Just making sure I had not missed anything. I will just wait it out until they announce they are ready.
