Digitrax Sound Decoder for Kato engines - anyone have one?

If so, what do you think? How is the sound? Any glithces?

I may be wrong but I don’t believe they are actually out yet. Waiting on one myself.

I did see a review (or mini-review) of them somewhere - I think it was from Loy’s Toys website or mailing?? They weren’t that impressed with the sound quality, but weren’t sure if it was the location and baffling of the speaker or the system itself. Apparently the built-in “face down” speaker site on the Kato engines doesn’t allow the bodyshell to resonate and become part of the sound produced.

AFAIK, the aftermarket versions have not shipped yet, just the OEM versions for Tower 55 and for the Kato factory customs.

I’m waiting for 3 myself, I heard sometime in August up here in Canada.
