Hello Everyone , I am getting back into the hobby after several years. Just bought a Digitrax Zephyr and when I turn the power on I get a red indicator light ,I was wanting to know if this is correct. I can’t find anything in the manual.
Exactly what do you have hooked up to the Zephyr and how?
What red indicator? What does the display show?
Hello Alan thanks for the reply. It is the track status indicator light. I have a 4x12 foot layout hooked up and also the programing track

Thats the one.
Track status indicator on (Red) = power is on to the track.
You can turn it on/off by pressing the power button (3rd down on the left)
This is correct and normal operation.

Actually it’s kind of orange. If you squint you should see both the red and green. Select Address 00 and go to max throttle in one direction and it should get more red. Go the other way and it should get more green. Do it without any locos on the track, just in case. Be sure to turn the speed knob back to stop before hitting loco, exit.
