For an exhibition in the Dutch Railwaymuseum I have build this diorama in 1:35 scale.

Hope you like it.

Hans, I did a little 1:35 military modeling when I was in school and I can certainly appreciate the work you have into that diorama. I really like it.

Hans,

That is really good work, that station, must have taken quite some time,a lot of detail… I too indulge in Military Modeling… Again good work…

Cheers,

Frank

that is some great work!

Fabulous!! Great work!

Great work Hans. You should be very proud of that. Any idea how many hours you put in on it?

Thanks for all the compliments. It took months to build the dio. The roof was a hell of a job, I think about 3000 tiles…

Amazing diorama! I’m a bit of a WWII buff (no wonder my modeling era starts in 1944) and Operation Market Garden is one of my favorites. I must have watched “A Bridge Too Far” a dozen times by now. I love the detail on the diorama - very realistic, especially the figures and the tank. How in the world did you get the dents/holes in the armored sides?

The roof is really cool. I love the edges of the holes - very realistic.
