Disneyland Ride in Miniature

As a young child I have vivid memories of visiting Disneyland and riding on a train through “Frontierland.” One of the most intriguing aspects of this ride was something called “Tumbling Rocks” and unfortunately this ride was closed in 1977 to make room for another attraction. However, a young man living in Southern California has recently constructed an HO layout of this former Disneyland Ride including the “Tumbling Rocks” scene. I was so impressed with this young man’s work that I wanted to share it with other modelers.

Thanks for sharing the link! I too have fond memories taking this ride. It was back in Spring 1974, when the family I stay with as an exchange student took me to Disneyland as a treat. And a treat it was! We rode Amtrak all the way down from Seattle to Los Angeles Union Station, my one and only train experience in the US.

Thanks Madog…what did I do wrong?
