Dispatching Software

The other day I saw someone at the local Amtrak station with a scanner connected to a laptop, looking at a dispatcher layout screen and watching trains move through the San Bernardino Sub. Does anybody know what this software is and where can it be bought? It looked rather interesting.

Hmm I am curious as well. BNSF has on its employee site OODIS which tracks trains for us. So we can see just where our train is we were called for 3 hours ago is ha ha) But I didnt know you could get it as a private person.

Does it show everything including siding, switches and signals?

I know the station you mean: Fullerton, right? I have watched the program run many times on Friday and Saturday nights. The owner says that it doesn’t even require a very potent laptop. I believe this website would have some good info:
