Hello everyone, I have a n scale Kato AC4400CW and was wondering how to install ditch lights. Would I use really small LED’s or fiber optics? If you have any suggestions then that would really help. Any websites with instructions would be awsome. Thanks.
some one else helped me on this delema before, “Would I use really small LED’s or fiber optics?” LED’s would never fit especialy not for N scale. Fiber optics would be your best bet, By a LED white light and run fiber optic wire too desired location, Sry i dont kno of any websites for doing this. Also they make regular lights called “grain of rice” they might even be to big also.
I would use the Richmond Controls Sunny White Surface Mount LEDs. They are small with small gauge wires that are easy to hide. http://www.richmondcontrols.com/ Here is a pic of one:
