Do you have operating sessions?

Well, I’ve been to a few, mostly it was just me and the host operating, not a real session. I was going to make the excuse that my layout isn’t finished enough, but the photo in the above post made me decide not to. Although, Mr. Fugate’s layout isn’t covered in junk like mine![:D]

I don’t really have enough cars of the correct era though, most of them are about 50 years too old. Add that to the fact that I only have one cement car for the cement plant. (or the spur where the cement plant will be once I can fund it.)

I hope to have an op session at some point in the future, but I don’t know when.

What a great way to learn some world geography! I like the idea of having the map on the wall! When we lived in England and Germany it was amazing (to us) how many people had no concept of the size of the US. The some way that I think people here don’t really understand the geography of Europe. Anyway, I think it is a great idea, especially with children around!
