I have 2 of them, Reading and G&W, HO Scale. They are the best Atlas has done to date, detailing is great, as is the paint and lettering. As for operation, all I can say is they are typical Alas.You won’t regret buying them.
I have two, both SP. The detail is great overall, though I wi***hey had modeled the headlights correctly for SP. They run great, very smooth and quiet. The paint is very nicely done, too.
The default headlights look like golden white LEDs and are really nice. Too bad I’m going to rip them out and replace them with the full SP light show… eventually.
I have 4 of them. 2 C&NW and 2 undec. Excellent running models. Detailing and paint is also excellent. Parts that you will need to add are the front and rear handrails, horn, sunshades, wind deflectors and drop steps (at least on the C&NW units). As edhorm said, you will not regret buying one (or four!).
I assume they are DCC ready. Just drop a decocder in?
