…a similarity between the N scale model railroad in this month’s issue and the BSSME in Jan. 02
Not really. What I am having trouble seeing is that FONT color [:D]
MIKE
Since it’s the same club and the same N scale layout in both articles, it would be more surprising if the layouts were different.
Oh, I don’t know about that. My layout is so different than it was this time last year that the casual observer might not notice the connection if only shown photos and a track plan of it.
I was gonna say that!
Oh, yeah? I’ll see your font colour and raise you to this one that is even harder to read…
"
."
So there —HARRRUUUUUUMPH!!![:-^]
I call your yellow and raise you white.Ha Ha![(-D [(-D] I laugh so hard because not only is the white font impossibly to read on the white background, but it is also impossible to see the same little laughing smiley face in white against the white background. And if anyone can see it, let me know. I can’t see it either so I don’t even know if the white font laughing smiley face guy is there [%-)] I think my own joke just [dinner] in the butt.
Mil-Rodr- I’d raise everyone on my .[(-D] But then, why do they have such dang funny but not so bright font colours in the first place!! Other colours yes but not this colour value please!![|(][(-D]
MILW-RODR I actually can see that. I bet it’s just my young eyes. I could read my post fine, but i guess that is enough into a personal font. I also have some other ideas in this sentence, let me know if you can actually read them this time, much less see anything. One last one.
This seems like an appropiate time to ask this question. What kind of eye magnifiers are good? You know the ones you wear like glasses. I’m down to the soldering track laying part and I must have left my eyeballs with my last layout all those years ago. Pay attention IVRW like my aunt use to say to me “old age ain’t for sissies and your turn is coming”[swg]
Now that we are talking about font I have something to add.
Non of ya’ll coloring tricks will work on me, since I usually highlight stuff as I read it. Muhahahaha!![:O]
Maybe b/c it was supposed to done this way?-----yeeeesh[%-)]
Isn’t it kinda ironic what we are talking about and the name of this post?
As long as the colours don’t get too obscure things do seem to work rather well. Most Word programs give a person a chance to do these kinds of things to their docs but think about this now. Do you really think that you could read this all day? And might it not get a little much?
IN THIS MONTH’S ISSUE OF WHAT???
Go ahead and use your silly font colors, I’ll just highlight the message and - perfectly readable!

This months issue of FONTS magazine features a great article on annoying colours and how to avoid doing eyeball damage to your poor beleagured readers
Since the discussion is now 3 miles east of anything railroad related, it’s time to close up shop and move back to railroad related discussions.
